Pancake Day!

As I missed last year's Pancake Day, Mommy promised me something special this year.  She'd be going on how great pancakes are, even eating them in front of me.  Finally, she let me have my first bite of pancakes!  And boy, I wasn't dissappointed!  I loved them!  I was very quiet, happily munching away.  I can't wait until the next Pancake Day....perhaps Mom will let me put maple syrup on them?!
Yummy!
I can't decide which pancake to eat first!

Hmmmm....these look interesting!

Keeping Busy

Here I am trying to stand up by myself.

I've been keeping busy the past couple of weeks.  Mom and Dad say I'm growing up too quickly!

Of course, we all want the same toy at once!

I still meet up with friends regularly.  They're finally really noticing me.  I waved to Amy and she waved back!

I know I'm not supposed to do this---but I can't help myself!

I'm getting up to loads of mischief---from taking my mat apart to pulling down everything off of the shelves.  I'm only doing it to keep Mommy and Daddy on their toes!

I've spotted the camera--so I'm coming over!

And on to Ottawa

Boxing Day, Grandma and Grandpa J picked me up in Montreal and drove us to their home in Ottawa.  I was beginning to feel better and the next day we had a belated Christmas celebration there.

I got to meet more uncles and aunts....and spent more time getting to know my cousins, Emily and Jacob.  I took a real shine to Emily.  I played my first game of hide and seek with her.  She was great to play around with.  I liked Jacob too but he was very weary of me.  Despite this, Jacob was very kind to share his toys with me.

It got to be very cold.  Grandma and Grandpa J took me outside for a tour around their house.  I didn't like being so bundled up, so I didn't stay out too long.

At the end of my holiday, it was very hard saying goodbye to everyone.  I will have to catch up with everyone on skype as soon as I can.

I guess I've been hanging out too much with the dogs!

Here is Grandma with her 3 grandchildren.

Waiting to go outside.

My first ride in a sled.

My First Christmas

Christmas Eve I got all dressed up and had my first Christmas dinner with all the family.  Unfortunately, I caught the cold that had been spreading through the household so I didn't feel up to eating any turkey.

Here we all are, ready to feast.

I slept and hoped that Santa would think I was a good boy this year--and when I awoke on Christmas morning, it was snowing--just perfect!

Dad says don't blame him--it was Mommy's idea to dress me up as one of Santa's elves.

Here I am making everyone laugh.

I had a wonderful first Christmas.  Too bad I won't be able to remember it.  But at least Mom took tons of pictures.

Meeting My Relatives in Montreal

I've had a very busy past couple of weeks.  I took my first bus and plane ride.  Mommy says I was very good on the plane---and even allowed my Mom and Dad to watch a movie.  After a very long day of travel, I fell asleep on the suitcases just before Uncle Nick picked us up from the airport.

At last in Montreal, it looked very similar to England....no snow yet!  I quickly got over the jetlag in a day, in time to meet all my relatives.  I would greet them with a puzzled expression, often followed by an "ooh" sound and then a few tears (if they were men).

I loved my Grandpa and Granny's house and got to explore around.  My favourite toys to play with were Granny's Christmas musical toys and the Elmo chair.  I made everyone smile when I danced while Dominic the Donkey sung his song.

I had a good time in Montreal....but I did not like how you had to bundle me up so much to get out of the house!  I hated that p'tit Coulou---I could hardly see!  It sure seems easier to get me ready back home!

Uncle Wayne and Auntie Susie stopped by for a visit.

Here I am meeting my Grandpa

and meeting Granny.

All bundled up and only a little bit of snow.

My cousin Annabelle showed me her pretty room.

Here I am with my Uncle Scott--gosh, he's so tall!

Here I am at Karine's house---and I got to meet the cute little Olivia (and here I am stealing her toy lion!).

And Sarah visited from Boston.
